Sumitumo HX040 6 pos Backshell

The Sumitumo HX040 6 position connector commonly used on Honda Oedal Position Sensors lack an appropriate provision to attach a means to strain relief the harness. We have designed and manufactured this back shell adapter to be able to attach a molded or rubber boot. AUTM, SCL or other high ratio glue lined heat shrink can be used, although it is not recommended as they can slip if exposed to high temp once in use. This does not include any connectors or boots. If you need the connectors or boots, they are listed separately.  

 The backshell only goes on one way. The fit is snug and is recommended to add a small amount of  RT125 epoxy between the housing and the backshell. The terminals are still able to be inserted and removed with the back shell installed.

 This has an OD of 17.32mm (not including the lip) and works with these various molded and rubber boots.
